I've recently started exploring the world of Real Estate Notes. I have a fairly good understanding of it but am not quite certain if this is type of investment is used in Canada. I could invest in the US market but that feels foreign at the moment. Does anyone know anything about Real Estate Notes in Canada and/or does anyone actively invest in the US. If so how has the experience been.

Any info. discussion is most appreciated.
