Are you saying that court would be the only way to settle the nightmare scenario in a AFS contract? The reason that I ask, is because in Saskatchewan at least, we have a less formal process for evictions which is called the Office of the Rentalsman. You don't need a lawyer or anything to do an eviction here. I suspect that to even get a court date here, it would take a good bit of time like a month or two at least, never mind what you would have to pay a lawyer. If this were the case, would a person not be better off using the lease and the option approach instead?
My whole point is that from where I am standing it would seem that the lease/option arrangement would be a lower cost/faster approach if it all goes bad. Again, I am not challenging here. I am asking a question. I am interested and want to learn.
