Hi, I am new to this. My husband and I are wanting to get into real estate investing. I have started to read some books, 1 from a Canadian author and the other 2 are Robert Kiyosaki the rich dad series. I know its based in the US, but it gives me ideals and what not. What I would like to know is what can I read or get perhaps that will teach me about investing in Ontario. I know other ppl who have, but don't have a clue whats involved, and I don't want to end up losing. So anything will help me. This is something I can take half a year or so to understand, not wanting to get into anything with out the knowledge needed. Just one question, is capital gain the same in the states, where if you invest your proft, your not taxed. I have yet to read anyting on it yet.
