Hello guys,
Thanks for the posting on student rental properties. I am working for an university in the USA and would be moving to Canada sometime mid next-year(or even early). As of now, I havent decided where in Canada; depends on where I get a job. Given my current experience etc, my chances of getting a job with a university are more. Hence, I am thinking that student rental properties would be a good place for me to start in the real estate market. As you have rightly pointed out, I'll need to take into consideration the probable 4 month vacancy period with student rentals and the other laws(2 unrelated people living in the same apartment law etc). Thanks for the valuable inputs. If anyone has anything else to say on this subject, I would love to hear it. - Ardy |
