Hey everyone, Well, I've been to this board quite a few times and it really is awesome. It's nice to see people share ideas and genuinely encourage others to succeeed. With this in mind.....I am looking for help. I was downsized about a year ago, and have been struggling to find work. Financially, I'm probably not in the best situation, but I can manage. I have a lot of time on my hands, and decided that it is time to take charge of my financial future. Given the returns, leverage and endless possibilities that real estate provides, I decided on dedicating a lot of time and effort in the direction of real estate investment. My question is this....I don't have $4K-$5K to spend on real estate courses, not even $1K unfortunately. I need that money to live. So, what is the best way I can go about learning about real estate, are there any good books available, or online services, articles, or even anyone willing to mentor me in the areas of lease/options or flipping (I would be able to pay through a percentage of the profits made on any deal), I am located in Toronto. I appreciate any help I can get and would be extremely grateful and appreciative. Thanks! David.
