Edit
In just about EVERY market, there are always people who are looking for properties to fix up and resell. This is one of the main ways that most people believe that people make money in real estate.

In reality, the vast majority of these people have no experience, no access to money, and have no idea what a good deal is. The main problem is that you have to search for a while for the REAL investors who know what they are looking for and know how to run their business. This takes some looking.

I can tell you that there are PLENTY of investors in Toronto who are actively looking for good rehab deals. These people can quickly analyze your deal and pay your if the numbers work well. However, YOU also need to know what to look for as far as properties and the numbers. You are NOT going to find these good deals by looking at the MLS at listed properties. Way too many people are already doing this and if a decent deal ever pops up on the MLS, it is snapped up immediately.

You can advertise for sellers to call you in order to get good deals coming to you. This is what I have done for years and it is the most successful way of getting the good deals. Feel free to take a look at the FREE marketing course on my site for more information if you'd like.
