Jeff, Your strategy sounds sound...except the signing personally part...whether it be your brother or you. I would rethink that. One can sign "as Trustee and not individally." That is what we do. Just put those words under your name and/or sign "John Smilth, as Trustee and not individually." Also, the very best thing you can possibly do with regard to learning how to use land trusts is to invest in Bill (legalwiz) Bronchick's books and courses. Bronchick is a sharp guy (even if he is an attorney (puke) and this King uses his material extensively. It is the best and most useful info available anywhere, at any price. The King |
