There is no way to postpone taxes on "earned income" other than offsetting it with losses from other businesses. If you mean "capital gains", then there is the ability to defer taxes through exchanges of "like" property, ie. real estate for real state. Securities, notes, art, coins, etc. are not considered "like" property to real estate. Check with the IRS for information on "1031 exchanges". |
