I've found a property that is going to be sold for $700 back taxes in 3 days. The land is worth more than the house that is on it (about $50k). The tax records show no mortgage and they purchased it in 1979. I would like to work some sort of deal that would require very little cash out of pocket like an "option" to buy the property. Should I option it?Any suggestions or ideas? How should I approach the land owner?
