Lillian - This is not meant to be a personal put-down, but my way to say it as I see things. This is my first posting in this forum, and it is a gut reaction to what I see as a a self-proclaimed expert offering what on the surface appears to information of marginal value to new and uninformed investors. I have bought too much of this worthless "puff and fluff" in my life. It is within the power of your pen to inspire and inform your readers, and to compel them to purchase your books It is my firm belief that you have badly missed this mark. I am an experienced tax sale investor and I have attended seminars and purchased and used the course materials over many years from many gurus in this tax foreclosure field. Ted Thomas, Tony Martinez, Roy Stubblefield, Darius Barazandeh, John Beck, and more. They all have a lot to share and I have taken good advantage of their experiences in my personal investing across the nation. These teachers also know how to tell you what to expect from their seminars and materials before you spend your hard earned money on them. This is apparently a quality that you lack. I just read promotional overviews for your three books on the 1stbooks site you mentioned. In those book reviews you state that your books do not contain "puff and fluff". Yet what you have done is to write three very vague descriptions of how great you think you are and a lot of other warm and fuzzy stuff that has absolutely nothing to do with the content of your books. You give no compelling reasons - other than your many involvments, and your flitting between Florida and Colorado - why I, as an investor, should invest in any of your books. Your promo pieces never address: What's in it for me if I buy? . . . or . . . How can I go out and make money and recoup my investment with your book? This is mall about investing and making money, here. Isn't that why you took the time to write these books? Ya gotta sell them! Or maybe there is nothing to sell? I know it is not your legal background that makes you write such vague and non-specific material, which was nothing but "puff and fluff". Darius is an attorney who gets to the point and tells you how to make money. I own his courses, and have personally applied his teachings at many Texas tax sales. I think it has more to do with your inflated ego, as most of what was written seems to be your own bio sketch. Lillian - I strongly recommend that you re-read these three book overviews from the viewpoint of a newbie tax foreclosures investor who is looking for answers on how to profit from tax deeds & liens, and who does not know where to turn to find them.
Coaching??? Boy! You really would have to convince me . . . |
