God bless Mr. Barazandeh for the good job he is doing and his sincerity. I have bought John Beck's course, one of Lillian Villanova's worthless books, paid for downloads of tax info from several places and none of them remotely compare in value to the information and support in the Texas Houses for Pennies course(which I have also bought). What I want to warn you folks about is the unethical high pressure, deceptive phone calls that I have received for over two months from the John Beck Organization. Three different people have called me promising to "guarantee" to set me up with a "mentor" who would help me make at least everything I "invested" in "my 'EDUCATION'". They said their method specialized in the use of "OPM" (other people's money) and recommended the prospective student send them $10,000 to $15,000 or at the very least $5000. In order to make the "investment" painless, they recommended I put the charge on a credit card! Now, here in Alabama we have a name for such people. But I will not offend you fine people with it. Suffice it to say I told the Beck people, I would prefer to make my own mistakes and I figured for $5,000 to $10,000 I could make several doozers and still have some left over. To put this outrage in perspective, consider Mr. Barazandeh's genuinely helpful offer to do phone consultation for $65/hour. At the rate the Beck people charge, you could keep Mr. Barazandeh on the phone for FOUR HOURS A DAY FIVE DAYS A WEEK FOR FOUR STRAIGHT WEEKS. And that is just for their cut rate deal. For the cost of a real Beck Org. "education" you could pay for a two hour phone consultation each week with Mr. Barazandeh for the next 96 YEARS. Do the world a favor: when you see John Beck's infomercials on TV, call or write a complaint to the station. And maybe drop a post card to the FCC as well.
