Chris, I don't have experience with SC but can tell you quite a bit about Georgia. Georgia has a 2 year right of redemption. The rate of return for year 1 is 20% and 10% for redemption occuring the second year. The interest charge are flat and the redemption period begins to run when the lien (i.e., tax certificate) is sold at the auction. Warmest Regards, Darius M. Barazandeh, JD/MBA
