My previous example of an opening bid of $50 on a property with back taxes of $30000 is a real example.
The opening bid really is $50.00. Why would the bid start this low? This property is only worth $14000 and has been in arrears since 1992. So again I ask, is it possible for me to be the winning bidder at, for example, less than a $1000 and owe no more after this, or not? |
