Hi, I have more questions for you. I'll jump right into them:
2. In your experience, roughly what percentage of Texas tax deeds go unredeemed? 3. When I win a deed at auction, I will eventually begin to owe taxes and other expenses on the property. Even if I'm successful at flipping the property a few months after the redemption period is over, I imagine I'll still be likely to owe money on the property. How do I find out what the ongoing taxes/expenses on a deed up for auction are going to be? 4. Some county auction listings have cause numbers that don't indicate the year the suit was filed -- cause numbers like "19715" and "3006". I saw some listings for the January Burnet and Coleman county auctions, as examples of this. How do I determine the year that the county tax suit was filed if the cause # doesn't indicate the year of filing? 5. Some appraisal district property listings indicate that a property has a homestead exemption, but won't say when the property received the exemption. Here's an example:
6. I'm finding that (not surprisingly) some property deeds up for auction do not have corresponding county appraisal district property information online. Either the property listing isn't in the county appraisal district's database, or the county doesn't have their appraisal district information on the web yet. When this is the case, should I call up the appraisal district's office and ask for this information (address, appraised value, homestead exemptions, etc) over the phone? Is there a better way to get this information when I can't find it online?
